FORT HALL — Construction Project Manager Kimberly Dixey gave an update on the current projects her department is working on.
The Eagle Lodge building project as of last week has been erected and the Iron Workers are installing the insulation. They will be moving onto installing the underground utilities.

Continental Steel is the hired business that is working on four of the Tribes projects, Bannock Creek lodge, Buffalo Lodge, Gambling Arbor and now Eagle Lodge. They have three tribal members working for them: TJ Eschief, Payton Metz and Brant Bache. They are also part of the Iron Workers Union as permanent employees.
Dixey said, “It’s not often we highlight Tribal members working for contractors who are also a part of the Iron Workers Union.”
The Bannock Creek Lodge is nearly finished; the department will have a final walk through this week. Dixey said, “the district has been able to use their building during the Halloween and Thanksgiving holidays.”
Buffalo Lodge is in the process of obtaining power, and the structure is up, and framing will start this week.
