The EISF new painted mural depicting local Indian Relay team riders is now displayed at the fairgrounds in Blackfoot.
BLACKFOOT — The National Indian Relay Championships are part of new murals appearing on the Merchant Square Building at the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot.
Brandon Bird, EISF manager, said the murals were originally painted by Jason Coles more than 20 years ago. He returned to use his talents to paint new imagery on the building, completing half of the building in 2025 and the second half this year.

He said the imagery captures just some of the amazing action and activities at the Fair, including the Indian Relay National Championships, the Butler Amusement Midway, Bull Riding, a sunset with the American Flags, Fair Food, Youth Livestock Competitions, and the Demolition Derby.
It appears Teton Team rider Azeri Coby is featured, along with Tristan Birdinground who rides for Birdinground Relay. Not sure on the identity of the third rider.
