Shoshone-Bannock Tribes General Election May 29

FORT HALL —The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes General Election is Friday, May 29, when registered tribal voters will vote for three or less Fort Hall Business Council members.

Primary Election winners Louise S. Dixey, Lemuel M. Stone and Michael Alan Tindore go up against incumbents Ronald Todd Appenay, Devon Dwayne Boyer and Donna K. Thompson.

Voters vote for two or less Land Use Policy Commission candidates and they include incumbent Casper Appenay, along with Aaron F. Broncho, Lorrie Ann Galloway and Adam Boyd Hill.

Voting at the five Reservation Districts is Friday, May 30 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Gibson District residents vote at the Tribal Business Center Dome Room. Other voting locations are the Lincoln Creek Community Center, Ross Fork Community Center, and Buffalo Lodge in the Fort Hall District.

Early voting began May 27 and continues May 28 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Tribal Business Center.

Election returns are Friday evening at the Tribal Business Center.
