Sho-Ban Tribes General Election candidate forum set May 14

FORT HALL — The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes Office of Public Affairs invites Tribal members to attend the Fort Hall Business Council 2026 General Election Candidate Forum on Thursday, May 14, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Tribal Business Center Council Chambers.

The forum provides Tribal members an opportunity to engage directly with Fort Hall Business Council candidates and learn about their priorities and leadership vision ahead of the General Election on Friday, May 29.

Fort Hall Business Council candidates include Ronald Todd Appenay, Devon Dwayne Boyer, Louise S. Dixey, Lemuel M. Stone, Donna K. Thompson, and Michael Alan Tindore Sr.

The event will be moderated by Jeanette Wolfley, an enrolled member of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes and a respected legal scholar with more than 40 years of experience in federal Indian law. She has extensive experience representing Tribal nations and serving in Tribal governance and legal matters, including previous service as General Counsel and Special Counsel for the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes.

Attendees are welcome to enjoy light refreshments during the event.

Voting Information
All voting is in person only, and Tribal members must present their Tribal ID to vote.

Voter registration is available through the Enrollment Office, online at www.sbtribes.com/vote/, or at the polls.

Eligible voters must be enrolled Shoshone-Bannock Tribal members, at least 21 years of age, and residents of the Fort Hall Indian Reservation.

Early voting is May 27 and 28 at the Tribal Business Center from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
