Steelhead distribution
The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes Fish & Wildlife Department is distributing fresh steelhead on Friday, May 2 at 4 p.m. at the Tribal Business Center parking lot. For information contact Lytle Denny, anadromous fish biologist at 239-4560 or 221-9058.

Mountain View Baptist
Mountain View Baptist Church is in the process of an Old Testament Survey on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. important highlights, purpose and history of the Old Testament books will be covered. Handouts and discussions will be a part of the study. We welcome your involvement. We hope we can encourage you in your understanding of the Bible. God Bless and hope to see you soon, Brother Thomas End Time Ministry End Time Ministry meets Sundays at Fort Hall Housing Authority conference room: April 20 & April 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Fisherman’s meeting
The next Tribal Fisherman’s meeting is postponed until further notice. The Fish and Wildlife departments encourages all interested tribal members to contact them at 208-239-4555 or 4560 to get their names and addresses added to the “fisherman’s mail list.” Updates will be provided to tribal members on the 2008 salmon and steelhead runs, forecasts and harvest guidelines.

Fort Hall Youth Council meeting
The Fort Hall Youth Council meets every Monday at 5:30 p.m. in Room 110 of the HRDC Building. It is open to any Native student between the ages of 12-18. Topics of discussion will be: Northwest Indian Youth Conference, Shoshone Reunion, etc. For more information contact Ida Broncho at 478-3975 or Claudia Washakie at 478-3851.

Brown Bagger AA meeting
Brown Bagger AA meeting is every Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. at the Social Services building (old clinic) conference room. For information contact Charlie Davis at 851-1629.

Monthly Foundation AA meeting
A monthly Brown Bagger AA meeting is every second Sunday of each month from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Social Services building (old clinic.) Bring your Big Book to study and learn to incorporate AA’s spiritual principles. Call Mike C. at 745-1510 for information. The next meeting is April 13.

Bannock language class
The Bannock language class will meet Monday, May 5 at 5:30 p.m. in the Learning Lab. A potluck will follow so bring something to eat.

Swimming passes to diabetics
The Diabetes Project will provide a pass to any diabetic patient who is interested in swimming for exercise at Pocatello Recreation Center. The swimming exercise classes are held Monday through Friday at 7 a.m., 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.The Blackfoot Pool is also available with classes on M, W, Fri at 8 a.m. or 4:30 p.m. Open swim is also available if you prefer to not take a class. Please call 238-5435 to register.

Bridge of Faith group meeting
