Idaho State University’s Native Americans United Spring Powwow is Saturday, May 5 at 1 and 7 p.m. at Reed Gym. Host drum is Mice Hides and the emcee is Ivan Julianto of Dresslerville, Nevada. Tim Haskett and Devon Boyer are the arena directors. Headman is Tyson Shay of Fort Hall and head woman is 2011-2012 Miss NAU Shakea Jim of Owyhee, Nevada. Color guard is Fort Hall Veterans. There is free admission but dancers are charged a $2 registration fee and singers a $20 drum contest fee.
