This is a new organization coordinating natural resource activities of the Burns Paiute, Shoshone-Paiute, and Shoshone-Bannock Tribes. Executive Director will represent the Foundation in state, regional and federal natural resource forums. Knowledge of Columbia River Basin tribal cultures and inter-tribal, state, and federal relationships required. Bachelors of Science in fisheries, wildlife biology, environmental science or related field with at least 10 years experience in resource management preferred. LOAN SPECIALIST (COMMERCIAL)
Full time position in Blackfoot, Idaho. If position is filled below the full performance level, the duties will be commensurate with the grade level. Duties include loan making and servicing complex Rural Development business-cooperative program loans, loan guarantees, and grants, and provides technical assistance under program authorities to rural people, business concerns and communities within Idaho. Will be required to travel 30 to 45% of the time within the service area, and 8 to 10% overnight travel. Starting salary at GS-09 is $45,040 and at GS-11 is $54,494. The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes are proposing to enact Permitting Regulations. These Permitting Regulations will implement sections of the Shoshone-Bannock Waste Management Act and can be used to permit sites for potential human health concerns where releases of hazardous chemicals to soils have occurred. Written comments will be received for a period of thirty days. Copies of the proposed Regulations may be picked up during regular business hours at the Tribal Attorney Office, located at the Tribal Business Center on Pima Drive, Fort Hall.
