NOTICE PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD AND MEETING
The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes Water Resources Department seeks comment on a Draft Water Quality Protection Act. A copy of the Draft Water Quality Protection Act is available at Shoshone-Bannock Tribes Library located in the Tribal Business Center or the Tribal Water Resources Department located at 12500 West Reservation Road. A Public Meeting will be held on Thursday November 1, 2012 at the Shoshone-Bannock Hotel Event Center, I-15 Exit 80, Simplot Road Fort Hall, ID- from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at 12:00 PM at location above. Bids should be clearly marked on the exterior of the envelope in which they are submitted with the following information:

The contract documents may be examined at: Keller Associates, Inc. 305 North 3rd Street, Suite A Pocatello, ID 83201 (208) 238-2146 A pre-bid conference will be held at Shoshone-Bannock Tribes Water Resources Building on September 27, 2012 at 9:00 AM. Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are not required to attend and participate in the conference.
This project consists for the construction and start up of an HDPE lined 50M gallon winter storage lagoon and the preparation of 18 acres of a land application site and the installation of Tribal owned irrigation equipment. Included in this project is the construction of a finished wastewater booster pump station to provide flow and pressure to the existing and new land application sites.
This project will include the pipe, fittings, valves, etc. to make this a complete system. Each proposal is to be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a corporate bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes in an amount not less then 5% of the amount bid.
All Bidders and subcontractors, regardless of their role, requiring license in the State of Idaho will also be required to be currently licensed with the State of Idaho.
The only exceptions will be those categories not requiring licensure in the State of Idaho. Bidder will be required to meet Davis Bacon wage requirements, TERO requirements, and Shoshone-Bannock Worker Protection Ordinance requirements.
The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and or all bids, if in the best interest of the Tribes.
